At Plastisart, custom plastic manufacturing goes beyond simply making parts. It covers the entire lifecycle of a component or sub-assembly: study, design, tooling, transformation, assembly, finishing, quality control and delivery. This complete cycle is managed under one roof, by the same teams, with no break between the study and production phases.
It is this integrated organisation that has defined our way of working for over 50 years, and that allows us to respond to varied industrial projects, from the single part produced in an emergency to the regular series delivered in a scheduled flow.
What we produce at Plastisart
Single parts and prototypes
Whether it is a functional prototype for validation, an urgent replacement part or a component made to drawing for a specific application, we produce single units with no constraining minimum order quantity. Our integrated design office takes on projects from the concept phase, and our workshops are organised to respond quickly to one-off requests.
Manufacture of parts and components in small and medium series
This is our core business, thanks to different transformation processes such as thermoforming, CNC machining, RIM injection, blow moulding or plastic fabrication. All our machines are sized to produce series of a few dozen to several hundred parts with dimensional repeatability and quality consistency between batches. Our in-house manufactured tooling is designed to last and to allow regular re-runs without drift.
Production of assembled sub-assemblies and complete equipment
Plastisart is not limited to individual plastic components. We design and produce multi-component sub-assemblies integrating plastic parts with metal inserts, fastening elements, seals and components supplied by the client. When the project requires it, we are able to integrate mechanical, electrical or electromechanical functions into the equipment we deliver. The part thus becomes a finished product, deliverable directly into production or for on-site installation.
Complete "Plug and Play" systems, tested and inspected
At Plastisart, we also produce complete systems integrating all desired functionalities, right through to the fixing and connection device. We provide you with a genuine Plug & Play system that requires nothing more than on-site or in-machine installation. A time saving for you, and the certainty of having a directly functional and usable assembly.
These systems are particularly in demand for signage parts, visual communication and events. Plastisart provides you with equipment that perfectly meets your requirements and specifications. Numerous inspections, both visual and mechanical or electrical, guarantee you a high-quality product meeting your specifications. We are present and by your side, right through to the design and production of inspected and tested equipment (FAT).
Our organisation for plastic parts production
Versatile machine fleet
Our production site in Fleurus (Belgium) brings together all our plastic transformation machines on a single site: thermoforming machines, 3 and 5-axis CNC machining centres, blow moulding machines, RIM injection presses, welding and bonding equipment, paint booth and laser equipment. This concentration of different techniques on a single site is what allows us to combine several processes on a single project without transfer time between sites.
In-house tooling manufacture
Our mechanical workshop designs and manufactures all our production tooling: thermoforming moulds, RIM moulds, assembly jigs, inspection tools. This in-house mastery of tooling allows us to reduce production lead times, quickly adjust tooling during a project and guarantee compatibility with our machines.
Integrated design office
Our design office is physically integrated into our production workshops. The technicians who design the parts work in the same premises as the operators who manufacture them. This proximity eliminates interpretation errors, reduces back-and-forth and guarantees complete consistency between the part designed and the part produced.
Integrated quality control
Quality control is not a final step added at the end of the line. It is integrated into every production stage: raw material inspection on receipt, first article inspection before series launch, in-process inspection, final inspection before packaging. Every batch delivered is accompanied by complete traceability.
The different materials available in stock
We maintain a stock of thermoplastic raw materials covering the most common references in our range: ABS, PMMA, PC, HDPE, PP, PVC, POM, PA. This stock allows us to respond quickly to urgent requests without material supply delays, and to start production within lead times compatible with our clients' industrial constraints.

Lead time compliance and responsiveness
In the industrial sector, production lead times are a strategic variable. Our integrated production organisation allows us to control lead times at every stage and reduce the risks associated with coordinating between external providers.
For urgent projects, we have an internal arbitration capability that allows us to accelerate certain orders without disrupting the overall production schedule.
A continuous optimisation approach
From the very start of your request, Plastisart offers you end-to-end project management from A to Z. This management takes place within the framework of a strong partnership and regular exchanges. As an industrial player, you benefit from a process optimisation approach throughout your project.
The design office, integrated into the production and testing process, is in permanent contact with production and testing phases. In constant dialogue with your engineers, it can quickly optimise your equipment and intervene at production level. Thanks to this optimised continuous process, you have optimal management of your products, the evolution of their bill of materials, components and test reports.
Plastisart, a production partner, not just a supplier
Calling on Plastisart for your plastic production means choosing a partner who takes charge of the entire manufacturing cycle. Our integrated organisation eliminates friction, reduces lead times and guarantees consistency between what is designed and what is delivered.
FAQ
What is the minimum order quantity to launch production at Plastisart?
There is no constraining minimum order quantity. Thanks to our organisation and the diversity of our technologies (such as CNC machining or plastic fabrication), we manufacture prototypes and single units in an emergency just as well as small and medium series of a few dozen to several hundred units. We adapt our industrial capabilities to your real needs.
What is the main advantage of centralising my entire project with a single manufacturer?
Complete control over risks, costs and lead times. At Plastisart, the entire cycle is integrated on a single site in Belgium: design office, mould and tooling manufacture, transformation, finishing (painting, marking) and quality control. You eliminate intermediaries, remove hidden transport costs and benefit from a single point of contact from design through to delivery.
Do you design moulds and tooling in-house?
Our integrated mechanical workshop designs and machines 100% of our production tooling (thermoforming moulds, RIM moulds, assembly jigs). This in-house mastery is a strategic asset: it allows us to reduce production lead times, instantly adjust tooling when your drawings change and guarantee controlled pricing.
How do you ensure the responsiveness of your deliveries when faced with urgent industrial needs?
Our responsiveness rests on two pillars: on one hand, we maintain a permanent stock of the most common thermoplastics in the industry (ABS, PMMA, polycarbonate, HDPE, POM, etc.), which eliminates material supply delays. On the other hand, our 100% integrated production management in our Belgium workshop allows us to arbitrate the schedule internally to accelerate your critical orders without depending on external subcontractors.
