The technical capability of a plastics expert is measured by its machine fleet, but also by how those machines are organised along the production line. At Plastisart, our production fleet covers the entire range of plastic transformation processes on a single site in Belgium, allowing us to combine several technologies on a single project without transfers between sites or loss of coordination.
Our different tools by technique
For thermoforming
Our thermoforming machines can process large-dimension thermoplastic sheets and panels, using vacuum and pressure thermoforming. This fleet is Plastisart's historic core and represents our most developed capability in terms of operator experience, available tooling and material mastery.
Capabilities: large surfaces, thin and thick gauge thermoforming, forming on positive and negative moulds, bubble forming for deep parts.
Thermoformable materials: ABS, ABS/PMMA, ABS/PC, HDPE, PP, PVC, PETG, PC, PMMA and their variants.

For 3 and 5-axis CNC machining
Our 3 and 5-axis CNC machining centres can produce high-precision parts across a very wide range of technical thermoplastics. CNC machining operates independently for precision parts and small machined series, or as a complement to thermoforming for trimming, drilling and functional post-forming operations.
Capabilities: 3 and 5-axis milling, turning, drilling, tapping, trimming of thermoformed parts.
Machinable materials: all thermoplastics in our range, including PEEK, PTFE, POM, PA, PVDF and their technical grades.

For RIM injection
Our RIM (Reaction Injection Moulding) equipment can produce large-dimension polyurethane parts from aluminium moulds manufactured in our mechanical workshop. This process is particularly suited to machine covers, fairings and large-dimension claddings produced in small and medium series.
Capabilities: large-dimension parts, in-house manufactured aluminium moulds, insert integration, coating and screen-printing finishes in production continuity.

For plastic blow moulding
Our blow moulding equipment covers two complementary techniques. Contactless blow moulding for optical parts such as domes, skylights and bubbles in PMMA and PC: a historic Plastisart technique that achieves optical quality with no distortion or contact marks. On the other hand, we have extrusion blow moulding for industrial hollow bodies such as tanks, ducts and bellows in polyolefin materials.

For our mechanical workshop and tooling
Our mechanical workshop designs and manufactures all of our production tooling: thermoforming moulds in resin or aluminium, RIM moulds, assembly jigs and dimensional inspection tools. This in-house capability is a decisive advantage for controlling production lead times and ensuring consistency between the tool and the process.
Equipment: conventional and CNC milling machines, lathes, grinders, welding and fitting equipment. We machine moulds in aluminium, steel, epoxy resins and composite materials depending on the application.

For plastic fabrication and welding
Our plastic fabrication and welding workshop can manufacture parts and structures from standard thermoplastic sheets, tubes and profiles. We master all industrial plastic welding techniques: hot-air rod welding, extrusion welding, contact welding. These techniques enable tight, mechanically resistant assemblies, particularly in HDPE, PP and PVC.

For laser cutting and engraving
Our CO2 laser cutting equipment can work thermoplastics with a precision that mechanical processes cannot always achieve. Cutting of complex contours, perforations, permanent engraving of markings, traceability codes and identifiers directly into the material. Compatible materials include PMMA, PC, ABS, PETG, PP, PE, POM and PA.

For finishing: coating, screen printing and marking
Our finishing workshop includes a dedicated paint booth for coating plastic parts in RAL and Pantone shades, as well as industrial screen-printing equipment with oven curing. This integration allows us to deliver finished parts (painted, screen-printed, marked) ready to install, with no need to go through an external subcontractor.

For assembly of sub-assemblies
Our assembly capability allows us to produce complete sub-assemblies integrating plastic parts with metal inserts, fastening elements, seals and components supplied by the client. Our assembly jigs guarantee the dimensional repeatability of assemblies, batch after batch.

For storage and logistics
Our warehouses enable the storage of raw materials, tooling and production awaiting delivery. Our logistics organisation covers deliveries across Belgium and northern France, with the ability to adapt schedules, packaging methods and labelling to each client's standards.
